Rehabilitation of an insurance agency
GAN Insurance - Vincennes, decided to set up a dedicated antenna for professionals in the Champs-sur-Marne area. The locale, built in the 1980s, is acquired as a brut structure, free of any development by its former occupants.
The layout of the space was quite simple: a management office, a meeting room, a waiting area, an archive room, and an open space. The closed spaces (less frequently used) are gathered on the North facade, in order to liberate the West and South facades for the open space. Hidden behind the workspaces, a kitchenette area has been set up for employees.
The project was inspired by the national enterprise charter that required the implementation of a BLUE wall, but it was not imposed by the group and the other elements could be defined freely.
The floor, in carpet and grass and paths, evokes the green spaces visible through the largely glazed glass room, while defining spaces: the beige (path) for the circulation, the green (grass) for the workspaces. In continuity, the outdoor terrace is completely covered with a false lawn.
For economic reasons, all the furniture chosen is furniture from large distributors. In order to better integrate them into the space, they have been reworked: addition of oak panels, cutting, and slate painting in the back of the armoires...
