Outside city

In a hospital district of the 13th arrondissement of Paris, a former flag factory is camouflaged by standard sectioned offices, beige carpet and red woodwork. We enter discreetly through the central porch, in front of the building’s super.

Interior city

Recreating the soul of this space and its volumes required a bare exposure of the space freed of its slags to reveal a beautiful diaphanous light given by the interior patio. On the first floor, the open space revolves around this. The outlying areas, some executive offices, and meeting rooms are made entirely of glazed glass within the central space. The poles / beams structure is staged through a set of white or transparent glass partitions creating a play of reflections. The light from the street is filtered by orientable blades of translucent plastic. This opalescent light is punctually highlighted by touches of bright yellow. "Yellow post-it" color said a young recruit, who has since taken the lead. With less natural light on the ground floor, the space has been converted into a relaxation area, kitchen and model room, with special attention paid to artificial lighting and color.
